The Director of Learning Assessment will provide leadership in designing and implementing evaluation and assessment systems and programs, emphasizing learning outcomes assessment; coordinating key performance indicators, supporting university accreditation efforts, and fostering a “culture of evidence and assessment" across the university. The Director of Learning Assessment will also work with academic and service units across campus to design, develop, and maintain assessment programs that promote an understanding of what and how students learn and what they achieve both while here and after graduating, providing good evidence for improvements to educational programs. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree; formal training in survey design and qualitative research. Significant experience in an institution of higher education in the application of assessment and evaluation methodologies, survey design and analysis, assisting faculty to develop and sustain programs of learning outcomes assessment, and electronic and other systems that support assessment and evaluation; Be available for some evening/weekend hours as needed; some travel to off campus locations required.
