National Louis University (NLU) seeks a Vice President and Chief Research Officer to shape and guide its research agenda by building upon the existing corpus of expertise in engaged community research. NLU currently maintains strong foci in the fields of P-12 teacher and school leadership education and community psychology, and leverages long-standing and emerging local school and community partnerships. Leading work of the institution is currently anchored in deeply-rooted relations with organizations such as the Academy for Urban School Leadership, Teach for America, New Leaders for New Schools, several ethnically focused community agencies such as El Valor in Pilsen, and K-12 schools and districts throughout the Chicago-area.
National Louis University is a private, non-profit, independent institution serving a diverse multicultural population of approximately 10,000 students enrolled in three Colleges with programs from the baccalaureate to the doctoral level.
