FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
The Hunter College Department of Political Science invites applications for a tenure-track or tenured position, at the rank of associate or full professor, in US domestic policy. Candidates specializing in the following areas are especially welcome: economic policy, health, education, social welfare, race, gender, and the effect of public opinion on policy. Preference will be given to senior scholars with outstanding research and teaching credentials. The position, to begin in Fall 2013, involves teaching courses and conducting research in American politics and public policy, contributing to departmental administration, and participating in college programs at the Roosevelt House Public Policy Institute.
QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants should hold a Ph.D. For appointment as associate professor, substantial publication and teaching experience are required; for appointment as full professor, evidence of an established professional reputation, a strong and sustained publication record, and substantial teaching experience are required.
