Position Information:
We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator and Designer comfortable with administering and designing large, complex databases to support various enterprise level transaction processing, and reporting.

We are a Microsoft shop with modern technology that is moving to the next level. You will work with the latest Microsoft SQL Server 2008R2 technologies, 2008R2 Hyper-Virtualization and need to understand the advanced features of these latest technologies.

Minimum Requirements:
1. BA or BS Degree in one of the following subject areas: Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology or related field; or an equivalent combination of college education and experience.

2.2 -5 years IT operation with strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices

3.Minimum 5 years Microsoft SQL Server experience (Or another enterprise DB, the work is on SQL Server.)

4.Experience with implementation and management of SQL databases in a production environment.

5.Demonstrated significant proficiency in database design, administration, security, tuning and problem resolution

6.Experience with database tools and various software used to support operational aspects of database management.

7.Disaster Recovery planning, SQL Server backup configuration and maintenance

8.Good understanding of the organizations goals and objectives

9.Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

10.Technical documentation skills

11. Experience with large scale application integrations or migrations
Preferred Qualifications:
1.Certification in Microsoft technologies, MS SQL DBA (MCSDB) certification a plus

2.Experience in maintaining a high availability database environment.
