The School of Nursing (SON) at the MGH Institute of Health Professions invites applications and nominations for a full time position as clinical education placement & systems associate. Working with the academic coordinator of clinical education, the faculty and administration of the SON and the administrative support staff for clinical education, the associate will assume responsibility for the coordination and planning related to clinical education and placements for over 500 students at the baccalaureate, master’s and doctoral levels.

Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible to:
1. Actively seek out and develop relationships with new clinical sites and preceptors
2. Assist in the implementation and evaluation of innovative models of clinical education at the baccalaureate and master’s levels.
3. Manage clinical affiliation agreements with multiple sites.
4. Manage the clinical placement documentation system, including building, updating and tracking placement assignments.
5. Serve as the liaison between the SON and clinical placement sites.
6. Recommend and build and maintain innovative systems to meet the clinical education data management and reporting needs of the School of Nursing.

Qualifications: The successful candidate will hold a graduate degree in business administration, information management, education, or a related field. Preparation as a Registered Nurse is preferred, but not required. Candidates must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and networking skills and the ability to simultaneously mange multiple complex projects.
