Georgetown University is seeking experienced and energetic fundraisers who will contribute to the success of our university-wide $1.5B campaign. For Generations to Come: The Campaign for Georgetown is a bold plan for our main, medical, and law campuses that will advance Georgetown's excellence and impact in the world.
The Office of Advancement's Regional fundraising team has openings for three front-line fundraisers who will coordinate advancement strategies that will impact the collective university portfolio of prospects that range from special gifts (middle market) to those at the top of the gift pyramid (principal, leadership and major gift).
The three open positions are Director of Development for the Southeast (which includes the DC region), Director of Development for the Northeast, and Associate Director of Development for the Southeast. As members of the regional team, successful candidates will drive activity in their respective regional markets, ensuring strong pipeline development from discovery to solicitation to gift closing, in addition to collaborating with internal partners.
Candidates must have personal solicitation experience and should be ambitious and energetic – willing to travel 30% of the time and able to manage and grow a portfolio of 130-150 prospects.
