Prairie State College, an award winning community college located 30 miles south of downtown Chicago, is seeking candidates for Adjunct Professor, Art.
Prairie State College seeks experienced adjunct faculty to teach general education Humanities and Philosophy courses starting spring 2013. Successful candidates will have a desire to engage a diverse student population in the study of foundational texts from the ancient Greek and Hebrew traditions and/or classic and modern philosophical texts.

Minimum Qualifications:
This course requires a master’s degree in Humanities, Religion, Philosophy or master’s degree in a related discipline with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in the discipline.
Experience teaching at a community college is preferred.
