The University of South Carolina is seeking an experienced Associate Director of University Creative Services/Senior Art Director (Req #005545 Director of Information Services) to be the lead brand creative manager for the university. S/he is a problem solver, an energized person who has the ability to work with all levels of people to help them articulate their messages to their customers, then translate them into image and creative that is compelling, original and a reflection of greatness - the university’s and theirs. S/he is a driven leader who brings together diversified individuals to share in ideas that they are proud to own together. Creating integrative solutions to the customers’ communications needs that meet or exceed their objectives with respect to quality, value and on-time delivery, and that are both innovative (when called for) and appropriate for their target audiences. In conjunction with the director of strategic marketing and creative services, overseeing and offering creative direction to a large team in a fast-paced office where high quality, cost-effective, award-winning project solutions are the norm. Working effectively with a wide array of office and client personalities and the unique circumstances, all while balancing a large workload of projects and giving guidance to others. This position requires at least seven years’ experience in the communications, print, web, environmental design, visual communications and project management fields, including creative management.
