FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
Performs teaching, research and guidance duties in area(s) of expertise. Shares responsibility for committee and department assignments including administrative, supervisory, and other functions. Candidate should be a senior scientist in the area of Geriatric Nursing with an established program of research and funding. The individual should be nationally/internationally known. S/he should possess the ability to mentor students and junior faculty.
QUALIFICATIONS
Ph.D. degree in area(s) of experience or equivalent. Also required are the ability to teach successfully, demonstrated scholarship or achievement, and ability to cooperate with others for the good of the institution. Earned doctorate in relevant field and New York State license as a registered nurse with New York State Nurse Practitioner Licensure, if applicable to practice area, required.
