Trocaire College is seeking a Healthcare Professional to serve as Program Director for our new Healthcare Informatics Program. This exciting new program will offer a Certification, Associate's Degree, and Bachelor's Degree. The Director will be responsible for ensuring the success of the programs under his/ her supervision and management.
The Program Director Healthcare Informatics is responsible for ensuring the success of the programs under his/her supervision and management. This includes but is not limited to:
- faculty selection,
-supervision,
-evaluation and development,
-program development and improvement,
-student recruitment and problem solving,
-program outcomes assessment,
-meeting or maintaining any accreditation standards
-Maintaining day to day operations of the assigned program(s) including problem resolution.
-Direct and/or indirect oversight of clinical experiences or internships at instructional settings external to the college.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in health information, computer sciences, engineering, health sciences, business analytics, statistical mathematics, library sciences or closely related field.
Experience working in the Health Sciences.
Preferred Qualifications:
An earned PhD in the following fields is highly preferred: health information, computer sciences, engineering, health sciences, business analytics, statistical mathematics, library sciences or closely related field.
Certification or a minor in Health and Medical Informatics
Medical or educational research experience or training
Earned doctorate in health information, computer sciences, engineering, health sciences, business analytics, statistical mathematics or closely related field.
