Job Summary
The Frank W. and Sue Mayborn School of Journalism at the University of North Texas in Denton invites applications for a three-year appointment as a lecturer in the Department of News beginning Fall 2013. The candidate will teach classes in visual storytelling for TV news, including video photojournalism, audio and video editing, journalism courses with multi-platform applications, and other courses as needed by the department.
Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in journalism or a related field, at time of appointment. Professional experience in the television news industry with expertise in video photojournalism, video and audio editing.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong journalism writing skills and experience teaching college-level or high school level classes. Ability to mentor diverse student communities.
