Position Summary
This position’s primary responsibility is to provide support to the Vice President of Instruction, managing all central administration activities on behalf of the VPI. The Administrative Assistant may be the first point of contact for the VPI, interfacing with a wide variety of constituencies, both internal and external. Under limited direction with general instruction performs advanced secretarial and administrative duties, seting priorities and procedures for accomplishing work. Work is generally varied and administrative or project-oriented and may require the ability to train or lead others. May handle sensitive or confidential records. Duties require considerable coordination and follow-through. Reports to the Vice President.
Required Qualifications
Associate degree and five years of administrative support experience OR equivalent combination of education and exceptional administrative work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree.

$28,650 - $32,230
