Position Summary:
The Associate Degree Programs, located in Manhattan, is creating a pool of part-time faculty applicants for Spring 2013 and future semesters.
Job Responsibilities:
We are seeking qualified faculty to teach in the following areas:
DRAWING
2-DIIMENTIONAL DESIGN/COLOR THEORY
ILLUSTRATION
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Qualifications:
For all positions, we require a BA/BFA; an MA/MFA and teaching experience are preferred.
Drawing applicants should have experience teaching Foundation Drawing (both figure & observational), and instructing students in the use of traditional materials and techniques, including anatomy and perspective.
2-Dimentional Design/Color Theory applicants should have experience teaching basic and advanced color theory along with basic elements and principles of design. Both traditional (studio) and digital approaches to subject matter are preferred.
Illustration applicants must be proficient in both traditional techniques and digital applications such as Photoshop and Illustrator.
