Job Summary:
The Senior Instructional Designer will be responsible for designing interactive, media-rich content online courses. These courses should demonstrate delivery of educational content in an effective manner to meet the educational needs of diverse learners. In addition to analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of third party offerings, the Instructional Designer will coach Development staff in instructional design theory and practice. The Instructional Designer will be responsible for both new courses and revisions of existing courses, as well as publishing/presenting to national conferences in the field.
Minimum Qualifications:
A Master’s Degree and a minimum of 4 years experience in instructional design. Ability to apply current research and theory in online learning to instructional design projects as well as evaluate and assess instruction and its impact.Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, as well as analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a team environment. Experience in the field of eLearning is required.
