Accounting Faculty
Department of Business Administration
The Department of Business is seeking candidates for a tenure track faculty position beginning August 20, 2013. In addition to teaching upper and lower level accounting classes, the faculty member’s duties shall include participation in student advising, attendance at departmental meetings, and engagement in scholarly (e.g., publications) and service activities (e.g., committee assignments) consistent with the 2012-2015 collective bargaining agreement between Shawnee State University and the Shawnee Education Association.
Required:
• Masters in accounting or business
• Relevant college/university teaching experience
• Relevant professional accounting experience
• Accounting Certification (CPA, CMA or CIA)
Preferred:
• Experience with ACBSP and/or IACBE accreditation
• Doctoral degree or progress toward a doctoral degree in accounting or business.
