This position is based in Salisbury Maryland. Salisbury University is an exceptional public, regional, comprehensive institution growing in the number of students and in programs. The Department of Chemistry at Salisbury University is accepting applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position.

Area of Specialization: Organic Chemistry

Primary Job Duties/Responsibilities: Primary teaching responsibilities will be in organic chemistry, general chemistry, and general education. Candidates are expected to be able to utilize effective teaching strategies which enhance the success of a diverse student body.

Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. or ABD in Chemistry or Organic Chemistry. If ABD, doctoral degree must be completed before August 15, 2013.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to teaching, scholarship, and service at the undergraduate level.
