Registered Nurse - Per Diem
Position Summary: Princeton University Health Services is seeking a per-diem, day shift Registered Nurse for our 15 bed Infirmary. Princeton University Health Services is a fully accredited, comprehensive campus health center dedicated to providing the highest level of care and customer satisfaction. The Infirmary is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, during the academic year from September to June, providing nursing care to students and their dependents. The Infirmary follows written protocols and has 24 hour physician back-up. Additional support is provided by a second nurse and a nursing assistant.
This is a per-diem, non-benefitted, day shift (6:45am to 3:15 pm) position. This position is subject to a full background check.
Essential Qualifications: The position requires 3-5 years of acute care experience in a hospital setting, strong physical assessment skills, and excellent judgment and decision making skills. Must be able to prioritize and manage diverse tasks. Current New Jersey licensure, CPR/AED certification, IV and phlebotomy skills are a must. Computer skills are required.
