Position Summary: A postdoctoral or more senior research position is available in the Neuroscience of Attention & Perception Laboratory, led by Dr. Sabine Kastner in the Department of Psychology and Princeton Neuroscience Institute at Princeton University. This is a full-time, 1 year position with possibility of renewal based on satisfactory performance and funding availability.
The lab uses a variety of methods to study attention and visual perception at various levels of processing from subcortical structures (LGN, pulvinar) to higher-order cortex (fronto-parietal areas). The postdoctoral researcher will work on human ECoG patient studies and fMRI studies of normal subjects, focusing on visual attention control in higher order cortex. In addition to this line of research, the postdoctoral researcher will be given the opportunity to participate in other lab research endeavors, and they will be expected to make a strong contribution to the lab's overall research efforts. The postdoctoral researcher must possess strong quantitative skills to explore rich human ECoG and human fMRI datasets using a variety of analysis techniques.
