Position Summary: The Department of Spanish and Portuguese Languages and Cultures is seeking to appoint a number of lecturers in Spanish. Appointments will be made on an as-needed basis with eligibility for renewal, and may be for one semester or the academic year beginning September 1, 2013. The number of hours will depend upon enrollments. Review of applications will begin immediately.
Essential Qualifications: Native or near-native fluency in Spanish and English is essential, as is excellence in language teaching. Master's degree or enrollment in a Ph.D. program required; Ph.D. or M.A. working toward Ph.D. preferred.
Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to those with experience as course coordinator / Head of Course.
