The Division Dean works under under broad, administrative direction of the Dean, with significant responsibility for providing leadership in the development, expansion, revision, improvement, and maintenance of multiple quality education programs. The Social Science and Health division houses the following disciplines and/or programs: Health and Health Occupations, Physical Education and Gym, Food and Nutrition, Anthropology, Economics, Geography and GIS, History, Sociology, Women's Studies.
The incumbent responds to inquiries from College departments, educational institutions, the community, students, and/or external agencies and supervises faculty, academic professionals, classified, technical/support, and student staff. Qualifications include: Master's degree in any academic field from an accredited college or university; three years progressively responsible managerial experience.
