The Division Dean works under under broad, administrative direction of the Dean, with significant responsibility for providing leadership in the development, expansion, revision, improvement, and maintenance of multiple quality education programs. The Science and Technology division houses the following disciplines and/or programs: Biology, Chemistry, Geology and General Science, Physics, Environmental Studies, Bioscience Technology, Computer Science, Microtechnology (including Solar), Veterinary Technician, Biology and Management of Zoo Animals, Campus Farm, Environmental Studies Center. The incumbent responds to inquiries from College departments, educational institutions, the community, students, and/or external agencies and supervises faculty, academic professionals, classified, technical/support, and student staff. Qualifications include: Master's degree in any academic field from an accredited college or university; three years progressively responsible managerial experience.
