Otterbein University, a comprehensive liberal arts institution in suburban Columbus Ohio, invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in the Mathematical Sciences Department beginning Fall 2014.
Responsibilities include: teaching 24 credit hours (3 courses per semester) of primarily undergraduate mathematics courses and pursuing an active agenda of scholarship and service.
Qualifications: Ph.D. in Mathematics, or completion by starting date, is required. Effective teaching experience is required. Experience teaching mathematics courses for educators is preferred, although candidates from all areas of mathematics will be considered.
