As a member of the Human Resources Management Benefits team, the incumbent is responsible for transactional/data entry and auditing of Benefits Information into Banner HR. This includes data entry and auditing of new hires, terminations, qualifying events for medical, dental, life insurance and reimbursement account, and enrollment and changes for 403(b) plans. He/she will send weekly files to vendors for medical, dental, and COBRA enrollments and terminations; will manage the tuition waiver process, including approval and data entry; and will provide back up support to the Benefits Assistant and the Customer Service Center.
Two years college coursework in business, human resources or related subject area required; bachelor’s degree a plus. Minimum of two years of related office experience with high level of customer service; human resources experience strongly preferred. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy is required. Ability to use an appropriate level of independent judgment, handle and respect confidential data is required. Must be able to multi-task, prioritize the workload, and demonstrate flexibility within a high volume professional environment. Must have clear and concise verbal and written skills and the ability to communicate complex information clearly and calmly. Prior experience with HRIS software; MS-Office and online technology desirable. Experience with Banner is preferred.
