Position Summary:

The Senior HRIS Analyst provides technical guidance, support and solutions for end users of the HR/Payroll information system. He/she makes recommendations on new functionality/upgrades and leads the functional design, specifications and testing efforts for each. He/she is responsible for updating and maintaining end user security and tables, data integrity, and documentation and training. In addition, the Senior HRIS Analyst ensures that all reporting and informational requests are met through the creation of ad hoc reports and the use of standard reports. He/she independently resolves or collaborates with Information Services (IS) personnel to solve technical problems and manages and prioritizes (with direction from Director) the ongoing task list. The incumbent serves as the HRM contact with IS with regard to BannerHR processes, functionality, interfaces, upgrades, testing, business rule definition and implementation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience. 6-8 years of experience in HRIS with at least four years of direct HR Systems experience. Proven capabilities in managing new functionality, gathering business requirements, business process analysis, upgrades, reporting, data integrity and system security. Strong working knowledge of the various HR functions (e.g. employment/staffing, compensation, and benefits administration) and payroll processes strongly preferred. Exceptional customer service, partnering and communication skills required. Prior experience in higher education is highly desirable.
