Position Summary:
The Senior Director of University Co-op Services’ primary role is to oversee and contribute to the unit’s core functions, which include the development and cultivation of employer partnerships for the purposes of increasing co-op employment opportunities and broadening corporate relationships; the further development, growth, and enhancement of the international co-op program; the collection, analysis, and dissemination of co-op data for university and external audiences; and the implementation of a strategic marketing & communications effort targeting the co-op faculty community, internal university audiences, and external employer constituencies. The Senior Director will have direct supervision of the unit’s Directors of Information Services, Employer Relations, and International Co-op, in addition to supporting University Co-op personnel, who will be charged with carrying out the unit’s day-to-day core functions. The Senior Director will supervise the collaboration with, and provide services to, the college deans and college based co-op units.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and ten to fifteen years progressively responsible experience with at least four years in a senior administrative position. A Master’s Degree is preferred. Knowledge and experience in employment and the companies and organizations that hire college students and recent graduates desired. Must have knowledge of the college labor market, workforce development issues, and global economies. He/she must have proven short and long-term management and marketing experience. He/she must be highly organized, motivated, and energetic and have strong interpersonal and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have strong team-building abilities and work collaboratively. He/she must have proven ability to interact with many constituencies and possess the talent for providing strong customer focus.
