Position Summary:
The Condensed Matter Group at Northeastern University invites applications from outstanding candidates for a postdoctoral position in the area of Computational Condensed Matter/Strongly Correlated Systems. The candidate will join A. Feiguin’s group and work on computational studies of strongly correlated materials. He/she will also be able to interact with the theory members of the Condensed Matter group – particularly A. Bansil and R. Markiewicz – as well as an active group of experimentalists and theorists in the department.
Qualifications:
Ph.D. or equivalent; be able to undertake substantially full-time research or scholarship; work under the supervision of a senior scholar. Candidate’s area of interest should involve one or more of the following topics: frustrated magnetism, strongly correlated many-particle physics, non-equilibrium quantum physics or novel numerical approaches to quantum many-body theory.
