Coordinator of Club Sports

This position would assist the Club Sports Coordinator with supervision of club sports administration and operations as they relate to facilities coordination, practices, games, travel, equipment, finances, personnel, sports medicine, and other duties and responsibilities as assigned at the discretion of the Club Sports Coordinator.
Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation Management, Sport Management, Athletic Administration or Physical Education required. Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of 1-3 years of experience of Club Sports Management/Administration and a demonstrated ability to manage student personnel and interact with many aspects of a large University community. Computer skills: Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, Scheduling Software, Web Site Development. Organizational, interpersonal, written, verbal and web site operational skills as they relate to business and strategic planning as well as marketing and administration of a club sport department within a large University. Demonstrated proficiencies; knowledge of and experience with risk management, safety, insurance and budgetary issues, policies and procedures as they relate to a college/university club sport program. Developed skills in critical thinking, situational analysis and problem solving as it relates to Club Sport program administration, development, and operations. Current certification in CPR, AED professional rescuer and First Aid. Satisfactorily pass a Criminal History Systems Board (CORI) check.
