Position Summary:

Provide diversified professional administrative support to the Office of the General Counsel and Associate Vice President and Deputy General Counsel to ensure the smooth day-to-day functioning of the Office of the General Counsel. Manage the Associate Vice President and Deputy General Counsel’s calendar, background materials and all travel arrangements as needed for meetings and events. Provide administrative support for various staff, brown bag seminars and weekly/bi-weekly legal briefing meetings; prepare agendas, PowerPoint presentations and reports. Work closely with the Assistant General Counsels to provide support for the subpoena and contract process maintaining logs and files.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree and legal secretary/assistant experience required. Minimum of 2-5 years progressive professional office experience, preferably working with lawyers and other top-level administrators. Paralegal Certificate required. Strong and resourceful computer skills are essential, with a proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Microsoft Publisher/Photoshop. Thorough knowledge of legal and business office procedures and protocol. Must be flexible and able to adapt to various situations, possess exceptional multi-tasking and organizational skills. Ability to interact with individuals at all levels with professionalism, diplomacy, discretion and tact.
