GENERAL DUTIES: Performs teaching, research, and guidance duties in area(s) of expertise as noted below.  Shares responsibility for committee and department assignments, performing administrative, supervisory, and other functions as may be assigned.

CAMPUS SPECIFIC INFORMATION: The Department of Nursing of New York City College of Technology of the City University of New York seeks candidates for tenure-track positions as assistant or associate professors of Nursing specializing in Maternal-Newborn Nursing Care. The Department currently offers an AAS degree in Nursing and a BS in Nursing completion program.  The successful candidate will teach across both curricula and serve on various departmental and college committees. Responsibilities also include academic advisement, research, guidance and professional development.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Ph.D. degree in area(s) of expertise, or equivalent as noted below.  Also required are the ability to teach successfully, interest in productive scholarship or creative achievement, and ability to cooperate with others for the good of the institution.

COMPENSATION: Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
