Lead Programmer/Analyst Banner Systems User Support
New Paltz is a highly selective public college that is recognized regionally for the strength of its academic programs. It is located in the beautiful Hudson River Valley with easy access to New York City and nearby cultural and recreational amenities.
Responsibilities: Provide support for the College’s Banner Student Information System including systems analysis, programming, and user support; provide project leadership in the design and implementation of new initiatives.
Qualifications: Minimum of Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field and three years of experience performing systems analysis and programming tasks utilizing a relational database system. Applicant must have excellent diagnostic, communication and documentation skills. Extensive experience using SQL is required. Experience using shell programming, Oracle databases, web programming languages and/or functional area support for Admissions/Records/Advising is very desirable.
