Primary Function of Organization Unit: The Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering Department is an academic unit. MAE is the largest academic department in the College of Engineering and the second largest at NC State. The Department has a commitment to quality teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level.
Essential Job Duties: Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering is accepting applications for the position(s)of Teaching Assistant Professor(part-time), Teaching Associate Professor (part-time), and/or Teaching Professor (part-time). Selected candidate(s) will teach one or two courses per semester in the area of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering.
Minimum Education/Experience: Minimum of PhD degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field is required
Department Required Skills : Demonstrated commitment to quality undergraduate and graduate teaching. Expertise in course(s) topics required. Up to 5 years of experience may be necessary/required depending on the course(s) topic.
