Primary Function of Organization Unit: delivery of executive program sessions
Essential Job Duties: This position will report to the Director of Executive Education, Poole College of Management.
Minimum Education/Experience: - Minimum of five (5) years experience leading corporate/government executive leadership programs and/or initiatives. - Experience developing high-level relationships and managing events with industry executives in technical fields - Undergraduate degree and experience developing corporate partnerships.
Department Required Skills : - Ability to successfully sell executive education programs - Strong consultative/selling acumen - Knowledge of executive education industry and distance learning technologies - Strong underlying acumen to understand, analyze and make recommendations linking key technical leader issues to learning needs of clients - Ability to work as a "trusted advisor" with senior leaders, including at the senior officer/executive level - Excellent prioritization, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills - In depth understanding of a broad variety of content and learning needs of mid and senior level technical leaders - Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team of professionals - Ability to shift responsibilities as needed based on demand fluctuations and unit needs - Commitment to diversity and to serving the needs of a diverse population.
Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education: - Private sector work experience in development of executive training programs - MBA or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
