This job expired 2 weeks ago.The Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences at National Louis University invites applications for a non-tenure track Assistant Professor in its Applied Behavioral Sciences B.A. degree program, beginning in September 2012.
The Applied Behavioral Science program is an interdisciplinary, accelerated, adult degree completion program that combines the academic areas of psychology, sociology, anthropology, communication studies, and economics/decision-science in the study of individual and small group behavior in organizations. Additional responsibilities include advising, scholarly activity, professional development, and university service. Managing student cohort groups and developing curriculum are expected, in addition to teaching.
The candidate must have college teaching experience with adult populations. Group facilitation experience and effective interpersonal skills are required. The candidate must demonstrate a commitment to teaching and working with persons from culturally diverse backgrounds. Earned doctorate in Social Sciences, Anthropology, Economics/Decision Science, Sociology or Psychology (non-clinical) preferred.
