Graphics Designer/Community Relations Associate

Work as part of an integrated marketing team, which includes advertising, public relations, and publication design for the college’s main and Norwich campuses. The graphic designer will report to the Director of Public Relations and will be responsible for a variety of graphic-design focused activities, including: creating design concepts and final products for the college’s advertising and publications; working with commercial printers; taking photographs for publicity purposes; producing the college’s magazine and e-newsletter; and assisting the marketing team with special events.

Qualifications:
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in graphic arts, illustration, design, advertising or a closely related field; two years of experience as a Graphic Designer; demonstrated expertise in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and PhotoShop (PC Platform); experience designing and publishing web-based publications, multimedia design and basic HTML skills; knowledge of Printing, Preflight processes and file transfer protocol (FTP); possess excellent people skills and be able to provide outstanding customer service; excellent written communication skills; experience prioritizing multiple projects in a fast paced environment. Social media technical expertise (Dreamweaver, iFrame applications) and interactive design skills (JavaScript,Flash) a plus. _____________________________________________________________________________________
