An M.F.A. in directing or acting by time of appointment required. The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated track record in effective teaching as well as professional experience and/or degrees or certificates in musical theatre and/or movement. Ability and willingness to direct in our production season is strongly desired. Preference will be given to candidates demonstrating a record of commitment to multicultural projects and issues.
Duties include teaching undergraduate/graduate acting and liberal education offerings, direct regularly in the departmental season, and advise graduate and undergraduate research projects/theses. The faculty member is also expected to conduct on-going creative work and/or scholarly research, advising, and service to the department, college, university and profession.
