Professor (Open Rank) of Curriculum and Instruction
McPherson College is seeking to fill a full-time, tenure track teaching position in its Curriculum and Instruction Department.
Qualifications: The individual will teach a variety of general and specific methods courses and supervise student teachers. The teaching emphasis will include a variety of elementary methods courses including reading and language arts. Applicants must have a master's degree (doctorate preferred) and at least 3-5 years of K-6 teaching experience in the public school setting, as well experience in higher education.
The following factors will be given additional consideration: experience teaching in diverse situations, knowledge of accreditation, supervisory experience, knowledge of program development, and student recruitment/retention. Compensation is dependent upon qualifications.
