Luther College invites applications for a Visiting Instructor in French beginning late August 2014; this is a one-semester, non-tenure track replacement position.
QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s required; ABD or Ph.D. preferred at time of appointment. Near-native language ability in French and English and teaching experience required. Specialization is open, but expertise in Francophone literatures and cultures is preferred. The successful candidate should demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence in a private liberal arts college setting.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Teach three courses during Fall 2014 semester; courses will likely be two sections French 101 and an upper level French course.
