Instructor of Core Writing and Literature
Duties and Responsibilities: The Department of English, College of Arts and Sciences, Loyola University Chicago (LUC) seeks qualified candidates for a newly authorized position, beginning Academic Year 2013-2014, as Instructor of Core Writing and Literature. The initial appointment will be for three years, with possible renewal. The department serves the university's undergraduate core curriculum and offers undergraduate majors and minors. The department is among the largest in LUC's College of Arts and Sciences and teaches 3,000 students in roughly 200 sections each term on the Lake Shore Campus, Water Tower Campus, and at the John Felice Rome Center. This is a non-tenure-track, full-time position that involves teaching core undergraduate courses in writing and literature.
