Director of Online Learning
Duties and Responsibilities: Loyola University Chicago (LUC) seeks applicants for a full-time position as Director of Online Learning to develop, administer and oversee online academic programming across the University. LUC has offered online programming since 2002, which currently includes 18 graduate programs, 6 professional certificate programs and 3 undergraduate programs for adult learners.
The director will lead program development for all online programs and courses across the University. Working with academic leaders and technical support staff across the University, the director will be responsible for the planning, development and oversight of online academic programming for all academic units. This would include undergraduate, graduate, certificate and professional development programs.
Minimum Qualifications: Required qualifications: an earned doctorate preferred; four years of related experience in higher education; experience with and commitment to online teaching and learning; familiarity with online technologies for course delivery, synchronous communication, etc.
