LSCS is leading the way in creating programs that prepare students to meet the challenges of a global and technological society.

Lone Star College - University Park

Corporate College Instructor, Welding (#9566) UP

Job Functions;
Teaches courses in the Welding program; courses include industrial welding, Mig, Tig, stick, CWI and metallurgy.
Develops competency-based, client specialized technology courses and programs in welding technologies for corporate clients with assistance of instructional designer.
Delivers competency-based technical training curriculum programs in traditional and hybrid modalities.
Reviews welding technology course content and objectives.
Maintains current knowledge of welding technology.
Serves as SME (Subject matter expert)/consultant in the welding technology fields to accompany sales team, serves on grant committees and works with college leadership on projects.
Represents the college on various industry trade associations.
In collaboration with Welding Technology Faculty, designs and implements state-of the art labs for technical training
Responsible for other reasonable, related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications;
High School diploma or equivalent

Salary;
Commensurate with experience
