Assistant Professor of Healthcare and Operations Management
Lewis University, sponsored by the De La Salle Christian Brothers, is located 25 miles SW of Chicago.
The College of Business at Lewis University invites applications for a non-tenured faculty position for the Fall 2012 semester. The position is at the Assistant Professor level.
We are a friendly, collegial, student-centric college committed to providing an excellent education. We offer several baccalaureate degrees, and an MBA with eleven concentrations that include Healthcare Management, Operations Management, Project Management, and Healthcare Informatics. In addition, we offer a Master of Science in Information Security, Master of Science in Finance, and a Master of science in Project Management.
Responsibilities include:
-Responsible to model the University Mission through dedicated job performance, service excellence to constituencies, respectful collaboration and active support of the University's Mission and Catholic and Lasallian higher education.
-Teach courses in Healthcare Management and Operations Management.
-Advising students.
Qualifications: Ph.D in Healthcare Management or Operations Management and experience in healthcare or operations management and a commitment to Catholic higher education and the University's Lasallian Mission.
