Kenyon College invites applications for the full-time position of Head Women's Field Hockey Coach. Kenyon College, a highly selective liberal arts college of 1600 students, is a Division III member of the NCAA and is a founding member of the North Coast Athletic Conference. Kenyon offers twenty-two varsity sports, eleven for men and eleven for women. The college is located in the beautiful village of Gambier, 50 miles northeast of Columbus, Ohio.
The Head Women's Field Hockey Coach will be responsible for all phases of managing and directing a successful NCAA and NCAC Field Hockey program that has made post season NCAA competition two of the last four years. Responsibilities include: supervising an assistant coach, scheduling of contests, recruiting, instructing, strength training & conditioning, arranging travel, managing budgets, tracking equipment and developing alumni contacts. The position includes teaching one class per semester and an additional Game Management responsibility in another sport.
Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications. This is a 10-month reporting position. Employment at Kenyon is contingent upon a successful background check.
Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree is required, Master's degree preferred. Prior successful Field Hockey coaching experience is a pre-requisite, preferably at the college level.
