Assistant Professor - Mathematics

Summary of Job Duties: --Teach classes ranging from Fundamentals of Mathematics through Calculus-based statistics.
--Serve on divisional committees.
--Participate in professional development activities.
--Assume other duties as assigned and acknowledged by the Master Agreement. Required Qualifications: *Earned at least a Master's degree in mathematics, mathematics education, statistics, or a related field with at least 18 semester hours (27 quarter hours) in graduate-level mathematics or statistics required.
*Experience teaching mathematics at the secondary or post-secondary level.
*Experience at the post-secondary level should include developmental mathematics.
*All applicants must be able to demonstrate a commitment to teaching. Preferred Qualifications: *A minimum of two years of teaching experience at the community college level that includes developmental mathematics.
*Evidence of collaborative work.
*Experience with educational assessment.
