Job Summary/Basic Function:
The Department of Mechanical and Energy Engineering seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor Pool and welcomes applicants at any time. This posting is for the Fall 2018, Spring 2019, and Summer 2019 semesters. The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester and openings to teach these courses develop on a periodic basis, depending on department teaching needs.
The anticipated need may include but is not limited to:
MEEN 2301 Mechanics 1 (Statics); MEEN 2332 Mechanics 3 (Mechanics of Materials); MEEN 3242 MEE Lab II; MEEN 3250 Analytical Methods; MEEN 4810 Geothermal Heat Pumps; MEEN 4810 Oil & Gas; MEEN 4800.006 Feedback Control Systems; MEEN 4800.009 Automotive Manufacturing; MEEN 4110 Alternative Energy; MEEN 4140 FEA; MEEN 4810 Principles of HVAC; MEEN 5140 Advanced Math Method.

Minimum Qualifications:
Masters or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or related areas.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior teaching experience in the subject matter will be useful.
