Lynn is currently accepting applications for the position of Assistant Registrar. In accordance with the Office of the Registrar's mission statement, this position must apply, interpret, and maintain university policy and ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of student records. This person must work with faculty, staff, students and prospective students in all areas of transfer credit and data maintenance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with academic and other administrative areas to provide and coordinate new and existing services.
  • Process grade changes including incomplete and invalid grade processing.
  • Responsible for coding students that meet the criteria for probation or academic dismissal, and coordinating corresponding student mailing/notification.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate and complete attendance records with the faculty and relevant departments
  • Process all leave of absence and university withdrawal requests, coding and notifications.
  • Coordinate the processing of the application for reenrollment as received.
  • Ensure that data in all our student information and document imaging systems as related to the Office of The Registrar functions are accurate. Periodically assess, modify and assist the Registrar in implementing best practices in the field of maintaining accurate records and registration.
  • Computer skills in word and excel
  • Be able to query our student information systems to write reports as it pertains the Office of the Registrar for both internal and interdepartmental use. SQL experience preferred.
  • Assist the Registrar in maintaining complete knowledge and understanding of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Provide training to staff, students and maintain internal/external facing FERPA information.
  • Serve as customer service back up for the Office of the Registrar
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  •  Bachelor's Degree from a four- year college or university. Master's Degree preferred.

The Annual Security and Fire Safety Report
