Department Overview
As an AACSB Accredited Business School, the College of Business at UNT offers some of the country's finest programs with a wide range of concentrations. The Office of Undergraduate Academic Advising and Student Services is staffed with professional Academic Advisors and Academic Counselors that are responsible for the evaluation of transfer credit and course planning. They assist students with the understanding of university policies and regulations and reaching their academic goals.

Job Description
The College of Business at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire a College Recruiter to join our team. This role is an entry level position.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Contact and recruit students, have a working knowledge of CoB degree programs and requirements
* Make recruitment presentations related to the college's programs, address and inform families about the myriad of educational opportunities in the college
* Support department in the college with events geared toward prospective students
* Work closely with UNT Admissions office to maximize recruitment efforts and resources
* Develop and support recruitment initiatives
* Oversee student tour guides
* Assist with College Ambassadors as needed
* Work closely with University Relations, Communications and Marketing office in the development of recruitment marketing materials
* Develop prospective student communiques and serve as their point of contact
* Assist with new student orientation as needed

Minimum Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree and one year of experience in recruiting, academic advising, counseling, student services, customer service or related experience or can substitute education for experience.

* Strong presentation skills and problem solving skills.
* Developed interpersonal skills.
* Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships.
* Experience with Microsoft Office Products.
* Ability to obtain credit card for travel.
* Good driving record and access to a vehicle.
* Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
* Professional in appearance, motivated, self-directed and have the ability and willingness to communicate enthusiastically with diverse populations in a positive, courteous and professional manner.
* Ability to work evenings and weekends.
* Willingness to travel extensively.

Preferred Qualifications
The preferred candidate will possess the following additional qualifications:

* Advising and/or recruitment experience in higher education
