Under the general direction of the Director of Research and Planning, the Senior Research Analyst coordinates and prepares reports for state and federal agencies, including the Illinois Community College Board and Department of Education, and performs related research duties. The Senior Research Analyst is dedicated to the learning college concepts by supporting and assisting programs and activities to promote student success and lifelong learning.
Education/Experience:
Master’s degree required from an accredited institution with background in data management, data interpretation, and reporting, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience required in a position which had involvement with databases/analytics, data analysis using statistical software packages (SPSS, SAS, STATA), preparing written reports, and project coordination.
Community college experience preferred.
Qualifications:
Strong word processing and database skills; above average background in math/statistics; experience with managing applications; research methodology in social and/or and analyzing datasets (SAS preferred), spreadsheets, and other computer natural sciences required; must possess strong oral/written communication skills; must possess good organizational skills; experience using business intelligence software (Tableau, SAP BI) to develop and maintain visual analytics and dashboards preferred; plus other duties as assigned.

Monday – Friday
8:00 am to 5:15 pm
Minimum Starting Rate: $51,025.00
