The College of Public Health at the University of Kentucky is seeking an Associate Dean for Academic and Student Affairs. In addition to fulfilling the responsibilities of a full-time faculty member, the Associate Dean will be a key member of the Dean’s senior administrative team who will have oversight for academic-related activities and will work with management and staff to provide services to students, faculty, and program directors. The Associate Dean will guide curriculum development and management, educational quality assessment and improvement, academic support for the faculty, and facilitates a humanistic and inclusive learning environment for a diverse student body. The faculty workload for this position will be adjusted to accommodate the approximately 40% of time required for the administrative position, and rank will be at the associate or full professor level.
