Metropolitan College of New York (MCNY) is a unique and vibrant learning institution.  It is a non-profit, regionally accredited college offering associate, bachelor's and master's degrees, with state-of-the-art campuses in the Financial District of Manhattan and the Hub district of the South Bronx.   The college appeals to highly motivated adult learners who are committed to their education and transforming their lives and the lives of others.   MCNY seeks a well-organized, high-energy professional with excellent customer service skills to recruit and enroll prospective students in its undergraduate and graduate programs.  The Admissions Counselor will conduct outreach, counsel prospective students on programs, financial resources and matriculation requirements; develop relationships with public and private entities including schools, businesses, organizations and community leaders; and plan, schedule and attend on and off campus recruitment activities.  The Counselor will be able to enroll students in any of the College’s programs and will act as a liaison with Deans and Faculty for at least one of its programs.    Minimum requirements:  Bachelor’s degree (Masters preferred) with 2 years admissions experience.  Proficient with Microsoft Office Professional Suite; social media community management; student information systems (SIS) and customer/student relationship management (CRM) software experience are a plus.  Solid communication and presentation skills required. Weekend and evening work hours required.
