The Ohio State University Counseling and Consultation Service (CCS) provides a full range of mental health services to a heterogeneous university community. CCS is comprised of senior staff professionals representing the disciplines of psychology, social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy and psychiatry. We also train interns, fellows, residents, and practicum students in these disciplines. Strong emphasis is placed on the interdependence of staff as working professionals with diverse interests and philosophies.

Clinical Fellows receive advanced clinical training and supervision in university mental health services and brief therapy in a large, multidisciplinary, multicultural counseling center. Fellows are provided with intensive individual supervision, weekly case conferences, clinical seminars, and opportunities for case consultations with senior staff. This is a 12-month term position beginning August 1st.

Pre Employment Screening Requires the successful completion of a background check. Required Qualifications

Completion of a Ph.D OR /Psy.D. in clinical or counseling psychology, (graduation from an APA-accredited program preferred) (consideration also given to ABD candidates who have proposed), OR MSW degree, working toward independent licensure, OR master’s degree in counseling/counselor education or related field, working toward independent licensure; a supervised internship or equivalent work in a university counseling center, mental health agency, or related professional setting; general skills, knowledge, and experience in individual, couples, group counseling and psychotherapy; assessment experience; experience working with multicultural issues and crisis intervention experience. For the disciplines of social work and counseling, applicants must have degrees conferred and have obtained their LSW or LPC license for the State of Ohio by August 1st, the first day of the Fellowship.
